Half Bath Overhaul

Half Bath Overhaul

Off of the back bedroom and accessible from the back hall via a pocket door is a cute little half bath!  Just like the rest of the house, it was like walking back into 1965 and ready for an update.

Vintage pink American Standard
sink and toilet

Linoleum continued from the kitchen

Dad removed the toilet and sink, and scraped up the linoleum floor. Then new lifeproof flooring, toilet, and a sink with a vanity have been installed. There are a few final touches that need to be completed, but the major overhaul is done! It is amazing how different the half bath looks!

New floor, toilet, and vanity
(peep that freshly painted bedroom!)

Bottom draw of vanity will be installed
and a new mirror as well!

Kitchen Progress 7/6/22

 Kitchen Progress

The last time I shared the kitchen, it was being demoed (see that here). Here is an update on the progress in the kitchen! The linoleum floor has been scraped up, the walls patched, and cupboards are in! The butcher block counter for the sink wall is installed as well. My dad cut the butcher block perfectly, and it slid right into place, with a beautifully cut hole for the sink! Things are really coming together in this cute little house.

The wall is all patched and enclosed again

A cupboard added over where the fridge will be encased

An island of cupboards facing the dining room

A place for the sink under the window

Upper cabinets & butcher block counter installed

Upper cabinets over the range &
a place for the fridge to slide right in

Curb Appeal Overhaul

Curb Appeal Overhaul  The very last part of this renovation was to get the curb appeal of this dated 1965 home just right. It still needs to...
